Match Preview: FC Astra vs. West Ham (Europa League)

Perfect chance for revenge?

West Ham will be hoping they can progress to the group stage of the Europa League by beating FC Astra over two legs in the play-off stage of the competition tonight. The Irons went out to the Romanian side a stage earlier last season, against the odds.

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is taking the competition very seriously this year, despite conceding that a long run in Europe can have an adverse effect on Premier League form.

Others missing include Sofiane Feghouli, Aaron Cresswell and Manuel Lanzini who are injured, as well as Arthur Masuaku who is cup tied, and Dimitri Payet who is resting following a busy Summer at the Euros.
