West Ham ran out 3-0 winners (4-2 on aggregate) in tonight’s Europa League third qualifying round second leg against NK Domzale.
The Slovenian side had more than matched the hammers in the first, bringing a 2-1 lead to the first match at the newly renovated London Stadium. West Ham started the reverse fixture well with two goals from midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate, giving the Hammers a 3-2 advantage on aggregate by half time.
NK Domzale by no means disgraced themselves, but the class of new signing Sofiane Feghouli was too much for them in the second half and the Irons secured a place in the play-off stage of the Europa League.
The draw for the next round takes place tomorrow. Keep your eyes peeled, as we’ll bring you the news of our opponents here at WHUNews.
